VirtuFon's Skype forwarding service is an alternative to Skype's Skypein service, with the added
benefit of providing virtual phone numbers in countries that Skypein doesn't serve. Receive calls on your computer or mobile
device running Skype, such as the 3 Skypephone.
Here's how it works:
1. We provide you with a personal phone number in the city/country of your choice. 2. When someone in that city/country calls your VirtuFon phone number (at the cost of a local call), we forward the
call
to your
Skype
username.
3. This allows the caller to reach you on your Skype account running on your computer, Skypephone or other Skype
device.
Features Supported
Skype Voice Mail Our service is compatible with Skype's voicemail service.
Caller-ID We send the caller's phone number with each call.
Skype Call Forwarding (SkypeOut) If you have SkypeOut or a Skype
Subscription, you can forward calls placed to your VirtuFon
number to your landline or mobile phone.
